Privet Matryoshka’s! I’m feeling a little tired right now! I ended up attending an Armani Collezioni event held at ‘The Room’, where models showcased this seasons fall collection. I loved the entire event. I took so many photos of outfits I found to be chic, versatile and sophisticated. So, I can’t wait to show you a glimpse into the personal shopper world where fun, pink champagne and hors d’oeuvres are served, and refilled by the minute. But until that post goes up I hope you can be satisfied with this weeks Casual Sunday post featuring the always gorgeous, Natasha Poly.
Natasha Poly and Isabel Marant have come together!! The beautiful Russian model is featured in the French designers S/S 2015 campaign.( & on a side note I keep typing ‘2014’, I’m not used to 2015 yet!!). Natasha Poly is no stranger to Isabel Marant, the Russian model has walked the Marant runway in the past.
Privet Matryoshka’s, When we are immersed in conversation, our eyes become the feature most looked at. It would be unnatural if conversations lead us to starring at an individuals feet for the entire night. There’s also no other feature that can indicate what we’re feeling, or trying to express the way that our eyes do. If we wish to change our image and go for a sultry style, all you need to do is opt for darker shades of shadow. If we wish to mimic Audrey Hepburn’s infamous doe eyes, swipe eyeliner onto your upper lids. while achieving a natural look often look for softer colour palettes, pinks and pearl tones can never do you wrong. This throwback thursday post is all about the eyes. I will be posting video tutorials (at the very bottom of the page) that I found helpful for achieving a look similar to the one Natasha Poly wore to the 2012 Cannes film festival. + A few other smokey eyed options if you want a downplayed, less intense version. And yes …
I always remember counting down the weeks, days and hours before my flight is due to take off- I’m often prepared up to a month in advance because that’s just how anxious & over-eager I can be. That’s right my luggage is packed to the brim with all of the clothing I’ve deemed worthy enough to come along, but I won’t lie I often pick pieces I want to wear, but will not cry over if my luggage gets lost in the jumble of connecting flights. Who else gets like this? I hope i’m not the only one. Anyways I was flipping through the free magazine H&M puts out for the new season- this one is for summer, and I had some fun reading the well crafted articles; one stood out in particular with-3-4 pages dedicated to ‘Airport Fashion’. Airport Fashion is apparently a big thing, gaining popularity in 2011, and taking China and Korea by storm like that K-pop craze.
Privet Matryoshka’s!! Can you just see, and feel the summer when looking at Vogue Paris’s latest cover featuring Natasha poly? I can, and it’s placed me in a mood for wanting to dive into a pool, to only later lay poolside until the sun dries me off, repeating that until the sun no longer hangs in the sky. As for Natasha Poly being in Vogue Paris, the Russian beauty is showing off in red- from her bikini bottom , down to an outfit I just can’t describe, just be prepared to see highlighted cheekbones and a helmet. Well my Matryoshka’s what are your plans for the summer?

2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion show December 10th, 2013 was the air date for one of the most anticipated runway shows of the year, The Victorias Secret Fashion show. The models walked the stage in gorgeous outfits with themes such as Birds Of Paradise and Parisian Nights, to musical guests; Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy strumming it out in the background (psst neither would have been my choice). Anyway Matryoshka’s this post is dedicated to the Russian beauties who have walked the infamous Victoria’s Secret runway in the past. In other words the Russians have landed, make that the Russian angels!
