Fashion Find: $15 Maxi Dress

Hey Everyone! What I love about this time of year is that summer clothing starts to go on sale, that’s right the summer hasn’t ended..but you can snag some gorgeous pieces for enticing prices. Today I decided to venture off to Homesense/ Winners. Canadians know the deal with this place, but if you’re unfamiliar with Homesense & Winners..think of it like a Marshalls, or TJ Max (which it’s under the TJ Max group). Anyways I love to go to this store for my face washes, and moisturizers because sometimes if you look extra hard you can walk away with great products, for cheap. I’m stocking up on items for the Caribbean so this is the place to go. Now, I spotted a long, white Maxi dress with some embroidered detail, and guess what it happened to be on sale for $15, from $50. The dress is by the brand Japna, and is handmade in India. Casual Sunday: Miroslava Duma & The Maxi

I’m not a big fan of maxi dresses, which I’m sure is making you wonder why this Casual Sunday post is about the long dress style( I don’t own any- yet so maybe that’s why :P). I do however love it as an option for hot summer days when you’re bloated, or don’t feel like showing off your legs. Or yes— if you just want a more feminine style with added length. But I really love this style for expectant mommies to be. When Miroslava Duma was pregnant with her son George she wore a lot of cute outfits, but she also wore quite a few maxi dresses.

Naseeb’s In The Perfect Maxi Dress For Summer

Privet Matryoshka’s, this is just a short and sweet post about an outfit I’m envying at the moment!! Nasiba Adilova aka Naseeb, is wearing what i’m calling the perfect maxi dress for summer. Maxi’s are a must if you don’t want to solely rely on shorts or skirts to keep cool throughout the summer…however not all of them are this gorgeous, and this maxi might be hard to find unless you’re traveling to Brooklyn. What I love about her outfit is that the dress looks so fun to wear with it’s multi-coloured stripes. The Maxi is by designer Rosie Assoulin from her SS 2014 collection, + those stripes are hand painted. (Assoulin hand paints on materials like silk, duchess satin and cotton at her studio in Brooklyn) ..Enjoy the look 🙂 Continue reading “Naseeb’s In The Perfect Maxi Dress For Summer”
