Privet Matryoshka’s today I’ve decided to put up a post about one of Anya Ziourova’s looks! I know I rarely pay much attention to Anya, but I found her look intriguing since she’s wearing a bird cage veil. I’m not a fan of these types of veils, but it works well with Anya’s outfit. What I am a fan of is grey garments (and in this case two types of grey on grey) for some odd reason. I’m hoping to shake up my fall wardrobe and add some hints of colour, or even throw on my yellow coat with pockets by Zara from time to time. Anyways back to Anya’s look, she wore this recently at Paris Fashion Week to the Dior fashion show, of course the outfit is by Dior too.
Christian Dior was a French couturier, famous for introducing alluring feminine designs to french woman, that earned him the title of being a visionary of “The New Look”, a look that freed woman from years of style constraint they endured during the war years. The House of Dior first opened in 1946; Dior’s designs created the illusion of cinched waists, and daringly revealed a hint of
sexy ankle, for an ultra-feminine appeal.
The in demand, and native Russian model has something designers cannot seem to resist!! 2013 is nearing an end and Sasha has made appearances in 57 fashion shows for the fall/winter 2013 season. Luss walked the runway for well known fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Jil Sander, Alexander Wang, Prada, and Calvin Klein- to name a few.
I love the details in this behind the scenes glimpse of Vogue Russia’s December 2013 issue, the spread features one of the oldest Parisian cabaret’s “Folies bergere”. The star attraction is Belarusian model Maryna Linchuk, who is seen in Haute Couture pieces by Elie Saab, Valentino, Dior and even features a dress by the Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin.
