Hey Everyone! I just want to wish all of you a happy Casual Sunday! Lately I’ve been a bit preoccupied, not just by getting ready for the Caribbean, and the daily tasks called housework/chores/etc that are endless..but I’ve become addicted to Pokemon Go. So today (which is technically yesterday because I’m writing this casual Sunday post on Saturday)- I was out with my fiance playing Pokemon Go, and came across this incredible street art, and I was wearing one of my new & favorite casual outfits atm! So I thought why not? Let’s make a long overdo and rare outfit post. Now I know you might be wondering why the title includes the words “Dollar Store”-
Hey Everyone! There’s something about Shay Mitchell that reminds me of the blogger Sincerely Jules, perhaps it’s the beautiful places on the actresses Instagram page or maybe it’s the way she poses while wearing a pair of sunnies. Anyways I love Shay M’s casual style- she doesn’t try too hard and it reminds me of something almost anyone of us could pull off. Sometimes the simple styles are what I want to see…especially when I’m still recovering from the fashion at Vancouver Fashion Week and that was way back in March! Shay M’s style reminds me of the right amount of casual we could use on this happy Sunday. Unfortunately where I’m at, there’s a lot of rain, I’m bundled up in sweaters and I feel like we’ve reverted back to the season of fall.
Hey Everyone & Happy Sunday!! I know I’m really into statement coats at the moment since I made a post about all of the eccentric and bold outerwear seen at Milan FW only yesterday! Anyways, Bianca Balti is one of my favourite Italian models of all time, and I’ve decided to pick one of her casual styles for a long overdo Casual Sunday post. I want to say that I don’t advocate wearing real fur, so for the look that I’ve picked I’m opting for faux fur instead. One of the brands I’m suggesting for the look is Shrimps a UK based brand by Hannah Weiland that’s been gaining popularity lately! Their faux fur coats have been seen on Miroslava Duma to Poppy Delevingne. Anyways if you love wearing your jeans, but you want to take your style up a notch, this post is for you!
Privet, today’s Casual Sunday post was inspired from a minor day trip I took on thursday to a small airport just to have a certain culinary experience. You see this particular airport is tiny, and it’s known for it’s famed desserts. When you first walk into the little building that hosts the airport cafe the first thing you see is their motto “I Fly For pie”- so that right there tells you automatically what you have to try. Once you find yourself a seat you can have breakfast, and yes pie while watching the little planes (cessnas) and helicopters land and takeoff. I decided to wear my H&M romper for the trip (Since our weather has been scorching, Friday it climbed to 31 degrees).
Privet, and happy casual sunday Matryoshkas! This Casual Sunday post is all about a yellow, you know that colour we associate with the ripest of lemons, the warmth of the sunshine, optimism and of happiness. Yellow is one of spring 2015’s hottest colours, and it’s also one of the best ways to add punch to any outfit.
It has been ages since I’ve last worked on a Casual Sunday post featuring Russia, and the Ukraine’s best dressed! So to revive Casual Sunday, I’m starting off with a look worn by my style crush, Elena Perminova! During Paris Fashion Week the streets are filled with women who are wearing beautiful ensembles, and yes some opt to wear questionable outfits that only make sense for the intended purpose of street style entertainment.
Privet Matryoshka’s, I hope you had a lovely weekend, and I would like to wish any Canadian readers out there to have a Happy Thanksgiving!! Now today’s Casual Sunday look is worn by the Russian model Sasha Luss who has become a favourite on the runways, and I find her to be ultimately ‘one pretty cool chick’. Now this look is called City Cool, and consists of the essentials for fall wardrobes like the oversized knitwear sweater, scarf, and a trendy satchel to complete the look.
Fall, the time when leaves begin to leave the trees, covering the ground as a precursor to the blanket of winters snow fall. For some fall is a favourite season. It’s surreal to see the changing colours in the trees that line the streets. While the subtle chill lingering in the air brings with it a sort of nostalgia, and memories of the first time when I drank a pumpkin spice latte (Yes I drink those!). Well Matryoshka’s summer is over, but Casual Sunday’s are not! Time to bring out your fall fashion crushes and enjoy the new season while it lasts.
Today’s Casual Sunday inspiration comes from a look worn by Vika Gazinskaya for Tsum’s Fashion Night Out event (which happened a while back ago). When the day calls for basics, printed tee’s and jeans are the casual of the casual wear. I’ve been seeing a lot of printed tee’s and sweaters inside of H&M. Most of the tee’s and sweaters are incorporating ‘French words’ for those wanting a loud, parisian chic inspired wardrobe. So if you don’t have a basic top to pair with jeans, or you’re a fan of sweaters; H&M would be the place to go for a cheap trendy printed top. Besides Vika’s lip print Tee is no longer available, and you’d had to have been in Moscow to receive it. Anyways enjoy the look…I think it’s cute…esp Vika’s top(s) that she’s showing off.
Privet Matryoshka’s! I haven’t put up a Casual Sunday post in forever, but this look has prompted me to make a Casual style post for you guys, and it’s called “The Jetsetter”. Ah, so the end of August can mean the end has come for most of your summer vacations, & August can also mark the end to the summer, which is sad I know- I don’t want summer to be over either. Soon I’ll be posting looks that are more concentrated on the fall season, and I have some looks already planned out for you guys to get inspired by.
