Hey, Happy Sunday!! Actually Happy Weekend! Some of you may remember that one of my Casual Sunday posts long ago..was dedicated to Miroslava Duma’s low key and nautical look– Well this time I’ve decided to do the nautical thing just a little bit differently as a nod to summer nearing an end. I’m going to be at The Yew this weekend for their three course brunch, and seafood is definitely on the menu! So I’ve been inspired to jump on deck and wear my own version of what nautical is to a la moi, and I’m posting my planned outfit right here in this post..along with a few other looks that plays on humble rope, anchor details- vibrant reds, navy and crisp ivories..in addition to the classic horizontal stripes. & I hope these looks can inspire you if you’re wondering what outfit to wear, for brunch, on a yacht in Odessa- or coffee in a trendy cafe & patisserie .
Romper: L.o.g.g for H&M
Watch: Juicy Couture Jet Setter Watch
Ear Cuff: H&M
Shoes: To be determined…on my mood 🙂
More nautical looks that I’m loving:
Culottes and a striped sweater..a nautical look from the C2T (Con Dos Tacones )blog
I’m obsessing over the rope details on her shorts!
Gold and blue bracelet with an anchor clasp…Anchors Away!
The saying less is more really applies to nautical styles, the stripes do most of the talking for the look. Just add simple touches, a hat there- and of course pair that with a two toned bag (which is in this season)!
