As a little girl I had barbies, they had their own home, jeep, horses you name it my barbies had it..including inflatable furniture. There was one barbie I had that I envied, she had gorgeous long, silky blond hair and a wardrobe that I wished wasn’t so miniature. I named her Cher after the character in the Clueless tv series (not the movie), because she was the epitome of cool, she was stylish, and every ken doll had a crush on her. But I never for a moment wished to grow up, and look exactly like my barbie doll, let alone become a living barbie.
Most of you might be familiar with Valeria Lukyanova, she is the original Russian barbie (she’s technically Ukrainian), known for her abnormal slender waist, theatrical eyes, and spiritual views. However, she is not the only one who holds the title of having a doll-like appearance, in fact there are a few other women who are competing for the same title. Yep..this post will get a little creepy.

Creepy for sure. I mean, you do what you want, it gives us something to look at, but I find it a slightly bit disturbing sometimes… If you’re doing this everyday, above all. If you are convinced that you are a doll. That seems somewhat unhealthy…?

I’ve read that Valeria Lukyanova only believes in liquid diets, and aspires to try living off of light, and air. So yes, somewhat unhealthy could be an understatement.
However, if this was for halloween or for a dress up party, those makeup looks really do make one look like Barbie.

Yes, well, it’s a nice experiment, but some of these seem to take it to everyday life. But of course, it’s nice to do something new with your looks 🙂
