In a garden filled with hydrangea bushes in full bloom, Alexander Terekhov’s SS 2015 pre collection brings a floral revolution to life. The collection plays with the favourite spring time classic; Where florals are finding themselves in dresses and skirts that both have length and a relaxed fit. The colour palette rarely strays from pastels, but at one point the collection takes a turn for the darker side. I’m not a fan of that part of the look book (because the images are taken indoors, and somewhere dark), I love the images of the models taken in the garden, with floral on floral. These looks are not only meant for tending the garden, but to bring out your romantic mood for the spring time fever that accompanies the season. (A Link to the rest of the look book is included + a tip on keeping hydrangeas once cut and brought into the home)
But before you take a look at the collection, I’m, sure there must be some hydrangea fans out there! I happen to have this plant in my garden, and I always enjoy brining a few of it’s blooms indoors to grace my kitchen table. Anyways with all flowers they have a shelf life, & I found a link with some steps to follow to make your hydrangeas last longer once you cut and bring them into your home.
